Part A) You are a social worker with Whitegate Family Service Centre. Recently, your Agency

Head had assigned you a new financial case. The client has been self-referred to your agency.

You are meeting the client for the first time. You are to analyse the family situation. You are

develop the interview as you deem fit. You may give any name to your real/fake client. However,

remember that you are not to incorporate any issues of suicide, family violence, child abuse,

or mental health in your interview for your case study.

Your transcript of the interview should be between 4 – 5 pages long (double spaced, Times New Roman, front size = 12) and

must illustrate the use of all the following social work interview skills (at least two examples for each skill):

– information-giving

Please demonstrate the use of skill by indicating it in brackets. However, the usage of the skills in your interview need not follow the above order.
